New Playgrounds

It's rather mellow around here these days. The first and biggest wave of boxes and chores are done. So it was time to explore the neighborhood. We're inbetween two parks. We chose the larger one today, which sports a whopping four playgrounds. So after a hearty second lunch...

...we went off. The boys on their respective vehicles, me trying to keep up.

First playground was hit already, since it has a big bouncing car (see above.)

The real hit was the sprawling playgrounds and gardens of the Ökologische Bildungszentrum (a city sponsored Eco Education Center), where Henri found a big stone dragon to slay,

while Karl explored a jungle gym that surely deserves it's name, since it's built from a few fallen trees connected by wooden bridges with the bigger branches carved into alligator heads.

The team building double swing was a source of brotherly giggles.

While there was a hint of disappointment, that their new hero Yakari was not actually living in the teepee behind the center. Glorious day with great exhaustive qualities getting the boys hungry and sleepy.
