Yes, this is how we roll now - it was apple picking time. And despite my clumsy attempts as an amateur arborist to trim the trees last year our apple tree was rather forgiving, carrying quite the loot.
The apples are quite savory giving off the sweet aroma of autumn. There was a full box of grade A whole foods quality and another even bigger box hosting a lively bunch of worms that will be turned into apple sauce and pies.
And then there's the fabulous autumn dusk basking the whole city in a golden red shimmer which can be observed from Fred's office in late afternoon.
