Silver Medalist

Had to look at it twice? Yeah, Karl was going downhill at lightening speed and deservedly came in second in his class!

He had his final race yesterday after a week long kindergarten skiing class, so Henri and I ventured out to Söll in Austria to witness a whole bunch of downhill prodigies in the making. First and foremost Karl, of course – we couldn't be prouder of our speedy Nr. 23.

Henri was a good sport and is very much looking forward to being four and eligible for next years kindergarten skiing class.

If you live in Bavaria learning how to ski is pretty much like learning how to ride a bike.

All the kids do it! Happily!

I told Karl that in preparation for the Olympics I needed to get a shot of him biting his medal.

After a warm and snowless winter so far it was finally snowing quite a bit.

So we just hung a around a little longer.

And Henri practiced his current version of going downhill.
