Weekend With Omi (and Opa of course)

This weekend, Omi came to town!

And Opa of course.

After the boys were in bed, Omi, Opa and Fred came down to the festival grounds, where our band played the annual winter concert.

It was a rare Rock 'n' Roll treat for the Bensheim posse who is normally more prone to listen to opera and chamber music.

The next day it was brunch at Martin's and Anna's (Martin is Ulla's and Michael's godson). Henri made friends fast. This is Luiz, who actually gave Henri the Power Ranger suit, which obviously didn't fit him as well anymore as Henri.

After brunch if was off to the park, where Luiz and Karl competed in tree climbing.

While Henri proved himself to be a skillful photographer taking advantage of all the adults sitting in the late afternoon winter glow.

He caught mom and dad smiling...

...and Omi and Opa as well.

Back at their house he tried some other type of shooting, scaring Laura a bit.

And then it was time for some meats! Martin and Anna were quite the hosts.

We might never have to eat again.

The evening ended with "Finding Nemo". Perfect.
