Beach Life

The Summer seems to be coming to an end soon, so we better get going with some more posts from our adventurous travels to France and the Black-Forest.



Whenever the weather was good enough we drove out to the different beaches of Etretat, Deauville, Trouville and Cabourg. You have to benefit from the opportunity of staying close to a supersized sand box, right?



At the beaches we did beachy things. Like sitting on buckets,...



...eating ice cream,...



...or talking walks. Swimming? Nah. Not one of the things we did much. At least not our two boys. Water in shape of a big wide open sea seems to be a scary concept for both of them.



At least collecting sea shells was no problem and in the evenings the bounty of the day was cleaned thoroughly.
