Today Henri got to join us on our way into the mountains, where Karl attended his second day of ski school. First Henri was a bit wary that we were heading up into the "witches' forest", which the ski school is named after.
As soon as he was convinced that there were no witches anywhere he really got into the whole forest with a murmuring creek vibe. We also got to sled down a very long and steep mountain path, which didn't allow for any photographing, since this would've been akin to texting while driving the left lane of the German Autobahn.
Every magical forest of course needs a knight, so there he was - brave and fearless.
Karl in the meantime was promoted from beginners to advanced class just before lunch and got to learn how to use the ski lift. He also mastered the art of slaloming:
He was so much into it, that he didn't wanna stop and even when ski school was over he went for a few extra runs.

Damn well you deserve a medal, when you go from zero to ski-lifting and slaloming all the way up and down the mountain!

When Fred said good night to Karl he told her that he wants to start a ski school himself, in a different forest than the witches forest and if Fred wants to she can become a ski instructor too.

Bavaria at it's most awesome. I am getting mountain envy over here ... what fun for the kids!
