Ten years ago today the love of my life said yes. Ten years ago the best time of my life began. And despite the pugilist stance in this photo made just before our wedding vows, we never battle, we sometimes sparr, we mostly stand shoulder to shoulder. So here we are. What started as a twosome under a tree full of peyonies in the Bronx is now a family of four in a minty green house in the sunny town of Munich. Why we still call each other/others call us Lobies, that pun on the word engagement? Maybe because large parts of our life still feel like a honeymoon.
