Bridge Days

There is a great cluster of random religious and political holidays stretched over these weeks, which include a lot of bridge days (work days between a holiday and weekday, which can be used to maximize your European vacation time), which leads to little pockets of work and penty of time to drive out to grandpa's and blow some bubbles...

...hang out on a hunters' hide....

...go to a Cobwoy themed children's musical....

...with some distinctively politically not correct undertones....

...accompany dad on errands....

.....eat Chinese noodle soup....

....many an ice cream....

....and finally prove at the Zoo that your Bavarian roots don't even go skin deep

(not pictured - Henri grooving to a beer garden rock band, us seeing the polar bear cubs that keep Munich in a state of cute overload for five months now, us going to see "Rio2" in 3D, which was AWEsome, dad now collapsing from an overdose of carbs, sugars and sodas - how do the DO it?!)
