Graduation Party (kinda)

It was something like a graduation day. All preschoolers who will go to grammar school in September got a rather fancy farewell (above you see Karl with his preschool buddies from the "green group"). There was a buffet full of sausages and chicken nuggets, pastas and salads, cakes and puddings. The kids sang welcome songs. The highpoint of course was a musical performed by the kids. It was a very philosophical tale about four animals entering a competition of dares after being challenged by the very challenging frog.

Karl snagged the lead role - the frog!

And he sure gave a great performance. Here is a scene where the animals are very astonished.

The frog's dare is to eat a water lilly, which was substituted with a salad leaf which Karl in a great stunt worthy of Johnny Knoxville wolves down, getting some good laughs out of the audience.

He was also right on the mark with his lines. And there were quite a few (remember - he was the lead!.... annoyingly proud father tone to be inserted here). Afterwards there was a great farewell rituals where all the teachers sang a song while swinging each kid and pretend throwing him through the air towards school, which made all the kids giggle and all the parents wipe away secret tears. After which the customary "Schultüte" was pretend, which the kids had made themselves.
