Since Karl looks like a mini version of Mario Götze in this first picture I had to share.
Today was the big summer party at his future school, the Ostpreussenschule (nice name, I know...).
He was super excited. A week before we had gotten a very sweet invite for the party from Fee, a second grade student, as well as two coupons for ice cream. Karl can't wait to start school and this party was just the last incentive. If you have trouble tracking him down in the photos: he's the number 7 (Schweinsteiger).
I mean – bouncy climbing castle? Cake buffet? Lemonade? Ice cream? It was awesome. And school will be just like that, every single day... (no, he doesn't really believe that). Luckily most of Karl's buddies from Kindergarten will go the very same place and he even knows some of the second and third graders, so we all hope everything will go smoothly.
