Seven! Big day for Karl. Who is one of the most gracious receiver of gifts.
Yup, Henri was jealous. A couple of small presents helped to ease the pain of having to endure a whole day of Karl being the star and center of everything.
Contrary to the last years it was a golden autumn day, so we did some impromptu replanning last night and did a treasure hunt crisscrossing the park to find riddles.
When I deposited the notes and the box of treasures I was afraid we laid out a bit too ambitious a plan for the gang of boys. Little did we know that they not only aced all riddles, but made us eat their dust.
The treasure was found.
New plans were made.
Soccer!
Action!
Karl's team won.
Back at the farm there was a piƱata waiting.
Which also didn't last as long as we thought.
After the sun set over spilled candy...
... there was some arts & crafts. Which were planned as a sweet creative fade-out of the day. Oh well, the boys built bombs, ass bombs to be exact. Well, he's seven now. Time for his parents to get with it.

IMPRESSIVE ANDRIAN + FREDSTER!! we took the easy route and went to a play park thingamajiggy! But next year we plan to do a similar!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARL!!!!
