Conquering The Mountains

It was Karl's time again to hit the slopes (I know, this blog currently looks like all we do is ski and party. Which is of course very Munich style).

He moved on to the advanced course. That also means you can race down the speedometer track. As you can see he hit about 50 (kilometers per hour that is, which is the speed limit for cars and motorcycles in cities and towns, so he definitely got some serious speed going there).

Not only that, he also did mainly red and even black slopes this time.

Which means we can now go skiing about anywhere we want. Maybe not heli-skiing yet, but that's more Colorado style anyway.

Well and there was the customary race.

He was very eager and excited.

And greatly disappointed that he only made middle field this time and not top 3, which means - no medal.

Having just truly conquered the mountains in all their red and black and sun glistening might, even the fact that these are the very mountains James Bond just fought the bad guys in, was no consolation. Well, we gotta work on those priorities (skills vs. merits and all that). Most likely on some more sloped before springtime melts away all that wonderful snowpack.
