Karl is making steady progress on the milk tooth front. Literally. After he wiggled out his left incisor himself, he wanted some help for the right one. Well, actually he had heard so many great stories about teeth being pulled out with a thread and a stunt that he and Fred settled on the bow and arrow version.
It was a bit of a scary moment.
But sweet success! The next one is out. He and his two classmates Tom and Johanna do look like soccer hooligans after a championship match these days.
Otherwise it was a mellow weekend with mediocre success of shedding the baby years in terms of books and toys at the library's annual flea market (that big crane is actually Henri's score at on of neighboring tables - he talked them down to three Euros and it's still fully functional).
We hung out by the river Isar having lunch at Munich's oldest kiosk.
We went by the municipal rose garden (yes, the city not only promised us one)...
...and ended up at Henri's buddy Jasper's birthday party with some excellent open air Lego action,
water gun battles,
and all around summer fun that included a great BBQ cookout. Images not included of - lots of buddies and acquaintances stopping by (we do live next to Eastern Munich's greatest ice cream parlor), rain dances in the monsoonish showers of the afternoon thunderstorm and Karl's great first efforts on the wave board we snatched for no money at the flea market. More to come...
