Kindergarten was closed today due to more carnivalling and Karl more than excited to have his mom exclusively for himself (for most of the day). We just ran errands and had lunch at the Suppenküche, but still. Not sharing mom is pretty popular around here.

ReplyDeleteIt IS dumpling soup, Sooki. Just a southern German version. They're called Maultaschen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maultaschen). Will bring you some next time I stop by. We also love to eat them fried with scrambled eggs and salad.
ReplyDeleteDang, didn't know Germans had dumplings! But i guess all countries have a similar dish or another.. like ravioli or pirogi... Would love to taste them :) I am really looking forward to visiting Germany one day, hee hee!!
