Rose Garden

Yesterday my boys and I headed out to the newly extended rose garden located adjacent to the Isar river banks. They added a little water course to the beautifully landscaped garden which is much safer for the kids to play in than the river itself, especially after a couple of rainy days. We got ourselves some ice cream at Frau Fingerles place and set up camp in the shade of a tree. Of course my Eiskonfekt had to be sampled extensively.



But the Flutschfinger was shared as well.



Concerning water Henri is much more of a sceptic than his brother, who loved every second we were there.



His joy turned into Ecstasy when his kindergarten friend Emminette (photo below, the girl with the pink skirt in the background) turned up. Karl spent quite some time trying to convince her to come play in the water with him, but her parents somehow didn't share his excitement. It might have been the fact that he came running to them out of nowhere, not wearing any pants. Or underpants.
