Six! Henri had his birthday on Saturday. He is now of schoolboy age! Crazy, no?
The days started (pretty early) with cake and presents. One very big present even needed the active help of big brother.
There was a really funny card.
And an early morning Lego building session that lasted until late lunch.
Followed by the birthday party with his friends (do you still follow the party train, which turned into an express a few pics ago?).
As customary there was a puppet show (might've been the last one, see entry lines...).
It was about Kasperl and his cousin from outer space who loses his treasure and his helmet asking the kids to help him with the hunt.
Kasperl would always read them riddles that gave away the location of the next riddle.
And off they went!
Next to last stop was at the ice cream parlor (now you can see how close that is - that green house is where we live).
Until Henri actually found the treasure first.
No images of ensuing madness, gummy bear devouring debauchery and destruction of decorative elements of the party. But it didn't stop. That day was followed by afternoon tea the next day with grandpa who got Henri a great hand loom.
Tomorrow, day 3 will bring the festivities to a grand finale (brought to Henri by mom with a little help from big brother), when muffins will be served to all at Kindergarten. He sure did fall asleep very happy today.
