Weekends are highly appreciated for very different reasons. Karl likes to sleep in. Henri likes to get an early start on his playtime. At one point the two Saturday morning programs convene.
Lunch was had at our local Chinese restaurant, which has a very decent dim sum (Henri) and a savory glass noodle soup (Karl). The garden section is under a few massive chestnut trees, which rained down on the parasols.
So the logical step was to go chestnut hoarding in the park across the street. Tomorrow's rainy Sunday will be spent turning them into munchkins and animals. Looks like the mellow m.o. will be continued. Which is very appreciated by everybody.
