You know it's gonna be a great weekend, when the welcome committee on Friday night already features a reading and a recital. Only the hippie hairstyles had to go.
So it was off to Franceso, our trusty barber.
Henri's kinda cool about the whole procedure by now. He knows that he'll get lots of compliments and ice cream after and a reading of Mickey Mouse books during. Afterwards we went to see the big land art show at the Haus der Kunst. Which was a bit challenging with a two and a half year old, who doesn't quite understand, why piles of Nevada desert sand, rows of pebbles or a construction made of debris from various sources should be off-limit.
I'm afraid he made the classic anti-modern-art clichee his own: "I could've made that!" He loved it, while Karl preferred the short film about Jean Tinguely and his kinetic sculpture in the desert, which featured lots of explosions and things flying sky high up in the air.Sunday morning we were greeted by a thick layer of fresh snow and the brothers sitting on the window sill watching the snowflakes fall into the garden. They still might not be the outdoorsy rough riders, but living in a house at least gets them closer to nature by a few meters. More about the rest of Sunday, when we went to a party at Georg's family's castle where everybody was decked out in Bavarian folk garb soon.....

Such a nice blog! So I am always updated about the kids! :-) Looking forward to see you soon! ;) Lisa
